our Story.
In the summer of 1999 while playing football at Tullahoma high,
John Irvin and Josh Allen Began working at Auto Pride Car wash.
While working and playing football their friendship grew, but most
of all their love for cleaning cars. They worked together for over
2 years before Josh left for college. John Worked his senior year
with Mike Thompson at Thompson Ford dealership in the detail
department. After John graduated high school he attended
MSCC, and further began he roll as detail manager. Josh came
back home to take some summer courses at MSCC and met up
with John and they began working once again in the detail
department. After a few years of working and trying to attend
college a job opportunity was offered to the both of them to
transfer to the Parts Department at the dealership. John and
Josh worked again side by side selling parts and furthering their
knowledge in the automotive industry. As time would have it they
both found different paths and again were separated. Josh Allen
left Thompson Ford a began working for Nissan. John stayed
with the dealership and became the parts manager. After a few
years apart John was flipping through an old Tullahoma news
article and saw where Auto Pride was for sale. Thinking that it
must have been sold John put down the paper and wondered
how neat it would be to own that place. A few months later Josh
came to the dealership to purchase some tires form John and a
conversation came up about what John had seen in the paper a
few months ago. The conversation sparked both their interest
and they wondered if it was still available. With a phone call to
Joe Orr realtors they found out it was. With nothing more than a
little money between them the devised a business plan that
would prove success. After a short battle with the banks and
realtors, On May 7th, 2007 Auto Pride car wash had new owners.
Once again they found them selves back together once again
doing something they both love. With the same passion for
excellence they have brought new ideas to the car wash industry.
